Hemlock House is a weekend pied-a terre in a wooded setting in northern Connecticut. ALA provided a comprehensive landscape design featuring a series of outdoor gathering and entertaining spaces in a variety of local stone types framed by garden ‘rooms’ of native plantings to enliven a formerly lawn-filled site.
